Description: "In and Out of Pocket", works by area artist Liz Gardner will be on exhibit at Pi July 4-26. The gallery will be open first Friday, July 4, 6-9pm and there will be an opening reception for the artist Friday, July 11, 6-9pm.
Gardner's collection of 365 pocket sized pieces were created one a day starting in January 2007. Her mixed media pieces capture the surreal nature of daily life and are a visual diary of her year. In addition to the pocket sized pieces are larger works which echo the small format, use of material and overall framing technique.
Regular gallery hours are Mon-Sun 8am-4pm and by appointment.
